Forestry Tasmania is seeking to employ motivated and competent people to fill the following Hobart based positions:

Systems Administrator

Role: The IT Infrastructure group provides HelpDesk and IT infrastructure services within Forestry Tasmania. Technologies used include eDirectory, GroupWise, Netware, Linux, Windows Server, Citrix, Vmware and Oracle. While our preference in filling this vacancy is for somebody with strong skills in Windows/Citrix/Vmware, applicants with aptitude and skills in other similar technologies should not be deterred from applying.

Applicants should have:

• A degree in computer science or equivalent.

• An aptitude to work in a team environment with minimal direction.

While preference will be given to experienced applicants, recent graduates should not be deterred from applying.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

The position is based in Hobart, however periodic intrastate travel may be required.
